Summer is finally here and has brought the heat for sure! The housing market here in Roanoke, Virginia is bringing the heat as well. Here is a clip from the Roanoke Valley Association of Realtors about how May wrapped up:

Home Sales for May

“The 575 homes sold during May is the highest number of May solids since 2006. The 612 homes placed under contract is also the highest number of May “pending” since 2005. A link to the May home sales statistics, a 4-year comparison, is provided on the front page of RVAR.com. The MLS releases its monthly home sales statistics around the 15th of the following month.”

Our team is proud and blessed to be a part of this quaint local housing market that we have here in the Valley. We’ve been able to sell exactly 100 homes so far this year and are looking forward to the second half of the year being just as strong.
